fish and chips alberta canada

Lawson’s is a family business, and a culmination of 36 years in the fish & chips trade. Our family has run fish & chip shops from the Scottish Highlands to the Midlands of England.
Crossing the Atlantic in 2001, after successfully opening a number of stores throughout Canada, our latest in the Sunwapta Centre West Edmonton is truly as authentic as it gets!

We take pride in ethically-sourced, premium fish.

At Lawson’s, we are committed to providing our customers with the very best traditional British fish and chips. We take pride in serving ethically-sourced premium fish. We only serve the traditional British ‘chip shop chip’ made from locally grown Alberta potatoes, selected for their taste and texture, that we peel and cut ourselves.

We prepare, and fry, our fish and chips separately in the highest quality oils. Our batters, sauces and side dishes are all made in house, as they should be!

Lawson's Fish and Chips is my go-to place! The fish is always fresh, crispy and perfectly cooked. The portion sizes are generous and the family atmosphere is friendly. I highly recommend it to all seafood lovers!
